Online Booking System

Did you know you could book appointments online?

Please ask a member of the Reception Team for more information on the simple set up of an online account which will give you access to be able to book pre-bookable appointments online via your PC, tablet or phone.

Appointments 

Please note that since December 2016 the Practice can now offer certain routine appointments in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays as well as occasional Saturday morning clinics with routine appointments available.

- For Urgent (on the day issues) - patients will be triaged by a clinician over the phone first. 

- For Routine issues - please book your check up or appointment in advance

To cancel an appointment- please call 01905 879100 if you know in advance that you can't make an appointment.

In August 2016 a total of 173 appointments were not attended and could have been used for other patients.

In November 2016 a total of 208 appointments were not attended by patients. This has significantly increased since August.

In December 2016 a total of 164 appointments were not attended by patients. This was 27 hours of clinical time that could have been used for other patients. 

In February 2017 a total of 152 appointments were booked by patients but not attended. That is just over 25 hours of clinical time that could not be used properly for our patients. 

In May 2017, 117 appointments were not attended by our patients or cancelled in advance.

That means that around 23 hours worth of appointments could have been used by patients needing to see a clinician. 

We ask patients to respect other patients at the surgery by taking into consideration that if you can not attend your appointment, by cancelling it promptly, the appointment could be used by another patient who really does need to see a clinician.

Access & Facilities

Farrier House Surgery has wheelchair access throughout. Facilities are available for the deaf.

We are sorry that we are unable to provide parking for patients at the surgery. There are a number of parking bays on Farrier Street and car parks available in the City Centre within walking distance.
